How long should my driving lesson be?

It varies from person to person. Often, one hour at a time is enough for a complete beginner as you get to grips with all the new skills that driving involves. But as you progress, it can often be helpful to take longer lessons of 90 minutes or two hours. In our experience, pupils who do at least two hours a week tend to make the most progress and are ready for their test more quickly. But it isn’t the case for everyone, so don’t worry if you only want one hour!

If you’re not sure how long you want your driving lessons to be, speak to your instructor who will be happy to advise you.
